Busy, busy, busy...

hi! I was hoping to get something done for a couple of challenges I saw, but my weekend turned out to be much busier than I anticipated! I am working on a card for the wedding of one of my daughter's friends - I'd like to get it done and entered for Cute Card Thursday's weekly challenge (this week is lace) but I'm not happy with the design yet. Once I get it done I'll post it...might not make it in time for the challenge, but we'll see. I also have been playing around with some new textures and mediums that I don't normally use. I'll be taking some photos throughout the week...so please, check back!

Cooking With Cricut Card Challenge

Here is my very first card challenge entry. The challenge is @ Cooking With Cricut (The button is on the right) and the theme was cows.
I used the cow from 'Paperdoll Dress Up', the barn from ' Everyday paperdolls', the sentiment is from 'Paisley', the grass from 'Plantin Schoolbook', and the butterfly is from 'Serenade'. Whew - I think that's it.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but the cows are all 3D. The front cow is raised on foam dots, and the others have their heads lifted from the paper a bit, just to give them dimension. I also used the butterfly image twice to give it a 'flying' look. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. Have a fabulous 4th!
