Summertime...

Summer has arrived (finally!!!!) here in Seattle, to celebrate, I decided to participate in the Cricut Card Challenge this week. The theme is "Tutti Fruitti".
I have this lovely watermelon ribbon that I've been wanting to incorporate, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity!
The lettering is from - Life's a Beach
The watermelons are from - Doodlecharms. I inked the outside dark green, and inked the part closest to the pink watermelon, a lighter pink - for a real watermelon rind look.

    ohooo I've just spotted the word 'Seattle', my daughter's not that far away at Money Creek, Skykomish,(with our only grandson) so every time I see that name I think, ohoo, give them a wave from me. Love your card, and now I've remembered I have some melon paper somewhere, they make a lovely bright fun card!
